E-mailing admissions counselors

Hello,

I e-mailed an admission counselor whom I met at a college fair. He gave me a great response in a timely manner, and ended the message with “please let me know if you have any other questions.”

However, I don’t know how to respond. Do I reply at all? Start the next message with “Dear Mr. Smith” again? Please help. What are some good things to say in a second message?

It’s not a courtship dkeith. If you GENUINELY have additional questions, email the person back. He isn’t waiting on you nor is your name on a pad next to his laptop, marking off each time you rattle off an email to him.

Only some schools consider “level of interest” to be important at all. The best thing you can do to show this is to apply as early as possible. Phoning/emailing superfluous stuff is insane and unwanted

I think at this point you do not need to reply.

You do not need to reply, unless you want to ask him more questions. Hope this helps!
