PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Revolution which do you think will be the superior system?

I think it's too early to tell
The nintendo Revolution hasn't revealed his unique controller
I hope it will astonish us in a positive way, I personally hope it will be some sort of gyro controls.

Between Xbox 360 and PS3, I think Xbox will win, thanks to bill gates dollars. Xbox games line up is great, and with forza motersport xbox has its own gran turismo.
Although PS3 has MGS and F1, I think they will suffer the most in the upcoming console war

this has to do with test prep...how?

The test of life, baby, the test of life.

Why the heck would you put E3 on here? What makes you think people here of all places would have a clue about E3?

Ya know, I'm not excited about the new Xbox. I guess I need to see what it can do and get used to its color. Its actually the same size as the first one, so it better give the goods!

Anyway... shame on you!!...n00b!

what are you talking about; PS3 will definitely outdo XBOX
it has a better processor, 6 usb ports (compared to 3), supports 2 HD screens at once, and a bunch of other features i wont even bother going into.

most important is the processor, like i mentioned.

nay its not the processor thats the most important... its the games, my friends, the games.

which system do you think will steal with its gaming lineup?

It still remains to be seen whether the PS3 has a better processor. If developers can't figure out how to make efficient multi-threaded games then the Cell might as well be junk.

PS3 is using PowerPC-base Core @3.2GHz
1 VMX vector unit per core
512KB L2 cache
7 x SPE @3.2GHz

meaning that 1 Cell has 7 different processing unit (SPE) and all of them are running indenpence @3.2GHz. xbox360 only has three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each

also Xbox360 has 512mb ram but it's a shared ram between CPU and GPU whereas PS3 has 256mb ram for each CPU and GPU

also, have u considered blue-ray technology? it enables an massive amount of space on a dvd formated cd. We're talking 25 to 50 gigabytes per dvd. Standard DVD capacity is 4.7G.... huge jump. Microsof't doesn't have this technology from what I heard.

Umm....bigger number != better performance.

True, Cell has more cores. But it needs those cores to match the performance of a traditional processor. It consists of simple, TLP-centric cores that, taken individually, does not compare to the performance of such cores as IA-based processors. Which means, when those cores are not fully utilized by multi-threaded applications, the processor will not perform anywhere near as well as traditional, ILP-centric processors.

more capacity = more wait for loading = :(

I thnk the nintendo DS and PSP are crazy. Those things are tiny!

lol nothing to do with E3.

bleh...one of these big boys need to team up with texas instruments. TI-3dvideogamecalculator2000+ plz

Square signed a deal with Microsoft. Suuuuckkeerrrs. FF is going to Xbox!

Nintendo promises ability to download all past games for free.

... Hmmm. Seriously, I don't see anything wrong with E3 being on this board. Gives people a break. If you don't know about E3, you better learn, cuz SAT and AP is not life, it is rubbish( don't put up some long argument please. I know, cuz I have taken lots of them). There are more important things in life, especially if you are a guy, and you don't know about E3!!!...

All I can say is THIS is funny.

Sagar you are exactly right. Many schools are about out for the summer if not already and college acceptance is pretty much finished. A little relaxing can help lift some nerves.

PS3 is, in my opinion, the best system out of the three next gens, but eventhough I regret to say it the 360's game line-up is looking pretty enticing. And well Nintendo is...um...well will maintain its third place in the console gaming.

Does anyone know a lonk where i can get a REAL picture of the PS3? I already know how X Box 360 looks....

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/614/614727p1.html
ign.com is one of the major sponsors of E3 and are constantly upgrading their information as its released. They have actual footage of the PS3.

of course duality, every producer of a game should try to use the best out of a system; like, for instance, midway did with area 51 for ps2. they used it to its max, and it came out quite fine (from personal experience).

its like, using a 3.2 ghz desktop with a 9800 radeon only to type in word. ;)
