can any engineers that have taken this class tell me about the difficulty? I heard it's pretty hard if you have no programming experience. I basically have no programming experience so if anybody has any advice on how to prepare for it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. =)

the beginning of the course is just learning how to use Matlab, real easy. near the end, u get into quite a bit of programming (that’s when it gets difficult), but u don’t really need previous programming experience. E7 is for non-EECS majors, so they don’t expect u to already know how to program.

How hard would E7 be for someone who’s taken CS 3 and CS61A?

depends. both cover very different material. u don’t really learn much programming in E7. all I remember about programming Matlab are loops and recursion. programming wise, E7 would be considered a joke compared to CS61A.
