EA Acceptees

How many of you already sent in your acceptance of admission? I'm still waiting a bit and considering all the options...but I'm pretty sure I will.

-fortune

S is waiting to consider all options, but is really excited about Chicago, as are we.

where else did you apply fortune?

All I can say is "You lucky, lucky individuals."

Well..to say "all my options" is incorrect. The more correct statement is "the other option" which is Univ. of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign. I didn't apply anywhere but these two schools.

Hi fortune,

I sent in my acceptance. My guidance counselor had me apply to umichigan earlier just in case, and also had me prepare a bunch of other other apps for other schools in case I was deferred or rejected, which I would have sent after I heard. So I'd have some options, as you say. But fortunately, I didn't need them : ) Good luck!

Sarah

well I was thinking about it but I got a nice $0 on financial aid, so now I may have to compromise to go where I can actually afford to go.

That's terrible. How does merit scholarship work for Chicago? Maybe you could compete for one of those...

I think it's based on your app. I hear they drop grades and look at test scores and awards. If so, I think i'd go to u chicago.
