No, actually it came a few days earlier. I think you should have your son go on their website, and just look at their scholarships. See what he can apply to and do it! That's what I"m doing!

I was sent an e-mail from admissions, I think, saying that they wanted me to apply for the Simon Family scholarship. They have the application for it right on the website, but they only want people who have been asked from what it says.
You can e-mail them and ask if your son/daughter can apply for it, though.

Thank you both for the replies. I will have my son check into them.

S in with VIP application. 1250 SATs one sitting. 3.7 W GPA. OOS.They are offering only $1,000 in a merit scholarship which I assume is because his stats are not better. He has a job and excellent ECs but not uncommon ones. Its his first choice so I wish there was a little more aid since we are just past the level to get any need based aid.

sorry to hear that Dogs! Just tell him to apply to every scholarship possible (espeically ones that aren't hosted by UVM)

Accepted to UVM Engineering .. :)

I was accepted using the VIP app...and 4,000 a year Presidential scholarship

However, I got into my ED school - Occidental College, in Los Angeles, CA - and I need to withdraw all my apps. I've tried emailing them about my acceptance and that I will not be attending UVM next year but still no response. Any ideas on what to do? I am getting nervous.

I got the VIP Application as well,

I was deferred :-(

that happened to me too!!!... what are you're stats??

You OOS folks will get no more $! UVM historically gives very poor FA to you. Sorry!
