crap 'cause looking back at mine they sucked a lot

I should be opening the envelope exactly 24 hours from now!

23 hours for me!

i'm planning to call home at lunchtime and ask my mom how big/small the envelope is...it's going to be a busy day...i have meetings until 9:30 at night...

i'm hoping i can run home and open the envelope before then!

from what I hear, size doesn't matter, so I wouldn't bank on that information. Plus, keep in mind your mom wants you to FAIL unless you're going to Harvard...Has she re-earned your trust?

Yeah, apparently we all get business-size envelopes. Acceptances are supposed to be a little bulkier, but not noticeably so.

"from what I hear, size doesn't matter"

Well, now I have heard it all :)

that's what they tell me.

haha, netshark, you're right about that, she'll probably lie

she said to me today, "why are you getting so nervous about this stupid decision? it's not like it's Harvard or anything."

urgh!!

Wow. So I just realized I'll know my decision by this time tomorrow. Kind of strange.

:(

So do you all think that us west-coasters might get our decisions tomorrow? Or will it probably be Tuesday?

I'm really pulling for tomorrow. I went out to my mailbox on Saturday, knowing it wouldn't be there, but was still angry that I had to wait two more days. I don't think I can handle another day.

Oh btw, I'm in Southern Cal, if that makes a difference

Yeah dan, I think you won't get till Tues. BTW, who here is east coast, who is west? Im NY.

GA--21 hours and counting!

I'm in NY too, Brenner.

West Coast- Northern California

45 hours and counting...

Lauren u Long Island or upstate? Im Albany

Actually neither. I'm living just outside America's armpit, aka Buffalo. So what time does your mail come tomorrow? I'll probably be finding out around 4, even though the mail comes at 2.

I have this whole plan for tomorrow- I'm gonna go for a nice long run to clear my mind, then when I get back, close my eyes and scoop all of the mail into my backpack, go to a park a few blocks away and open it there, away from everyone. What about you? Any elaborate plans? :)

well I know your question wasn't directed at me, but I'll answer it anyway.

So in approximately 44 hours, I will arrive at my house (if you don't feel like doing the math, that's at 1:00). I will savagely dig through my mail looking for a Georgetown envelope. I will then wlk into my kitchen and open it with a letter-opener (for a nice, clean cut). I will then look inside the envelope for a slip of colored paper (green?). If it is not there, and if there is only one slip of paper, my heart will fall into my feet. i will still read the entire letter, but then will probably have an anxiety attack about all of the applications I will need to do.

However, if there is more than one slip of paper, and also a colored piece of paper, I will go outside and scream. I will then call my mom and my friends and continue to go crazy. Then I will post on CC.

I really don't have any special plans regarding the opening of the envelope- I'm too impatient a person to walk somewhere and open it.

Good luck, everyone! Especially those of you hearing tomorrow!

And Lauren, I really hope you get in. I hear that Buffalo is... well... not so "desirable." Georgetown would be a nice change of scenery. ;)

Hey Lauren, I didn't know you live in/near Buffalo! I live in Toronto, Canada, and often visit Buffalo. I really like the Walden Galleria Mall. Its really nice :)
