Also, I will have a kickass art portfolio

Should I retake the SAT and aim for 2300+? Would it help a lot?
Am I strong in awards? ECs?
What else can I improve on?

Honestly, if you think you are capable of 2320+, go for it...but I would work on your art portfolio over the summer instead (try to host a small art show in sf or la if you can find a distributer/promotor)...however, your score is a very "good" 2250 (everything is 700+=strong)

Great credentials, you should be very proud - as you probably know SCEA at Stanford is the toughest applicant pool in the country. So no matter what, it is a roll of the dice for almost all applicants. Build a compelling case for what you want to study (if you know)and bulid your credentials around the pluses (maybe piano, maybe debate - work to compete at state or national level, or as another has said your art). Remember, they have so many applicants, you don't want to give the reader a reason to say NO! Teacher rec's will be key, so make sure you are building relationships this year for the very best evals. You will do well at almost all schools.

You do have a lot going for you indeed, but I'll throw in the observation that a 1450 M+V (while truly amazing, don't get me wrong) will not make you stand out among your SCEA peers. I think it's worth a retake. Best of luck next year!

I had a 2250 in one sitting, and a 2310 cumulative. I don't think your SATs will be worth the retake. Focus on something else that will make your application even stronger. :) Keep us posted!
