EA Class of 2022

@CMUapplicantECE Northeastern tends to release about 2 weeks before the given date, so it’ll probably be next week.

I feel like they’ll release them next week. This week seemed too early anyway but next Thursday is the 18th and that seems close enough to Feb 1st. If they wait until the week after it’ll be awful

They got an extra month this year anyway, I doubt they’re still going through the applications

Just saying feb 1st is a Thursday. So we might get dragged until then. Really hoping that’s not the case.

coming home to refresh this thread and see 8 new pages really got my hopes up smh guys

@aaaaaahhhhhh oh me too.

So… have decisions every come out on a Friday?

Not that I’ve seen in the past 5 years. Go enjoy the weekend, I wouldn’t even consider it until next Thursday, with a small chance of Tuesday. I would recommend keeping the anticipation way down on Tuesday, with a single check at 4PM. Thursday 1/18 seems to be decently likely, though it could be 1/23, 1/25, 1/30, 2/1. As you can see, no one really knows, so it is not recommended to spent all of January refreshing this thread

Nothing changed today. Go enjoy your Friday!

The wait is so painful.

Just so everyone knows, my admissions counselor just emailed me asking about a slight mistake on my css profile (and i applied on nov. 1) So they’ve probably decided whether ur in or not and are going over finaid!! Now you can be even more anxious!!

That’s so exciting!! if they’re doing FA now then I wouldn’t be surprised at decisions coming next week

I wouldn’t get too excited @cb6800. They have been working on FA for weeks/months. One person on this forum getting an email about their CSS doesn’t say anything about when results are going to get released.

Shoutout to @WilliamNYC for always being the voice of reason on this thread.

You’ve become the dad of every single person who applied to NU

does anybody know whether we get notified of merit scholarships at the time of admission? or later?

@chrys1 Merit notification is at time of admission. As is need based awards if paperwork was submitted on time.

financial aid and admissions officies work separately from one another, and the fin aid office puts together a package for each applicant.

I got deferred from my ED school and I still got an email about financial aid because they’re just making sure every applicant has the correct documents that they need

@gct3520 Northeastern meets full need but they are need aware in admissions. Admissions and financial aid offices work together.
