EA Class of 2022

Accepted! PA

Behavioral Neuroscience
ACT: 33

For anyone who got into the honors college, where was it on the screen when you logged in?

DD got in…Dean’s scholarship (20,000 per year) but no invite to honors…at least not that we noticed :).

On NU’s website it says that Dean’s can go up to 25,000 per year. I’m assuming the honors kids were the one’s who got the 25,000.

DD is high stats, valedictorian…really thought she’d get into honors. Anybody else get Dean’s but not Honors??

Congrats to everyone who got in!

I got deferred, but my friend got in undecided with a 1550 SAT, 35 ACT, and a 4.25 W GPA (3.98 UW)

NJ Accepted for physical therapy, 3.8WGPA, 30 ACT, 1360 SAT super scored, 5 years of volunteer work, varsity track captain, NHS, and a decent amount of extracurriculars

Deferred from NJ :c
1540 SAT, 89.5 uw gpa, 9 APs.

Why is it so much more competitive this year? My school’s naviance showed that everyone around my range got accepted.

Accepted to honors cs 35 96.7 uw no scholarship though so won’t be attending.

If you get a scholarship does that mean you’re in honors college too or are they separate things?

@cb6800 I sure hope so, lol.

Deferred in PA. Business undeclared. 4.35W GPA and many EC’s/service activities but not outstanding SAT/ACT scores.

southern california, nothing yet. hoping for NU IN or deferral.

Is there any chance of getting into honors or getting merit scholarships if you were deferred EA?

Kind of happy with the deferral- the letter of continued interest could put me/other deferrals above RDs.

Deferred
92.68 UW GPA, 1300 SAT
class officer, many clubs (most I was in for multiple years), varsity tennis, Navy JROTC (cadet officer), attended conferences, have an ongoing senior capstone project

good luck everyone!

@johnrhone is a T**LL

S deferred for Nursing. Third school deferred at. No denials, 4 acceptances. What it is this year with all the EA deferrals? Too many EA applicants. Went through this 3 years ago with a family member and EA was the way to go - seems like everyone else has caught on and its not the extra edge it used to be.
