EA Decisions

Anyone recieved a decision yet?

I haven't gotten mine yet. Though I didn't apply through their regular application. I used that special early one they had. So that might make a difference.

Yes, that is what I ment by EA. EA = Early Action. I think decisions were slated to me made around mid-December so I figure by New Years we should know.

Oh no, I know that's what you meant. But I applied using their early "Inventive Application" that they e-mailed me. So I'm hoping I'm put into the same group as the EAers

I hope so too....Tulane sent me a similar application called the "Personal App" (fee waived, decision in ~4 weeks, no essay) but on that you had to pick EA or ED. I selected EA.

I found out last Wednesday. I live close to Worcester though.

Mine came in the mail today (accepted) just checked it a few minutes ago because the driveway was snow covered before. It is great to know that I am in.... :D no more thinking about "should I apply to a backup" etc etc

People at my school [in Worc] found out last wednesday. Around 10 people made it in, I think out of 10.

Those of you who are in, are you going to be paying full tuition? Did you get any NON-need based financial aid? Thanks!!!

I received a merit award with my acceptance letter

what kind of envelope did the acceptance come in??

reg envelope or large thick/thin (9X12) envelope

because i too applied ea and am kind of nervous if i will get accepted.
if anyone wants to speculate and help me my stats are....

sat M 690 R 570 W 700
gpa 3.5 weighted
good essay, good recs and ecs.

They accept 75% of applicants...Its very unlikely that you will get rejected

are you sure??

i'm awfully worried because someone in this forum told me that WPI would be a reach....

also i applied ea so i should be expecting a decision soon, so could anyone who got accepted tell me about the envelope she recieved.

Don't be worried...WPI is not hard to get into, but is rather hard once you get in (or at least I've been told)
