Since, this time is very busy for me to do research stuffs and all. I couldn’t actually figure out about EA and ED. Is it true that if I get accepted in colleges through EA, I am bound to go there until and unless the college have non-binding program?
ED, Early Decision, is binding. EA, Early Action, is not binding. Some schools have two rounds of ED (1 and 2) and some do not. Some schools restrict you to only have one EA application.
Even if you are very busy, if you are considering applying ED or EA, you must research the particular schools you are applying to, to make sure you understand THEIR definitions, rules, restrictions, deadlines, etc.
EA normally refers to non-binding early admission. ED normally refers to binding early admission where you are committed to attend if admitted.
Some EA schools do not want the student to apply to some other schools’ early programs (rules vary). You also can only apply to one ED school at the same time.
Some ED schools offer two ED rounds, commonly called ED1 and ED2, where ED2 typically has deadlines after the typical ED notification dates.
I agree with the answers above. However, I do strongly recommend that you read the details of each plan for each school you are considering as there are some restrictions that exist on a school by school basis (ex. REA, SCEA etc.).
And not to be rude, but as busy as you are I recommend that you get in the habit of doing basic research on your own. Questions like this can be answered with a two second google search of the terms (which likely would have taken up less of your time than setting up a a CC account).
