My D got in EA last month. She recently called the admissions office to know when she will receive any mail, besides email, from them. They said a mass mailing is coming out this month. I assume they're talking about the acceptance package. Did any accepted students receive anything in the mail yet?

My D was also accepted EA last month. She received the ‘big envelope’ with acceptance letter, dated 12/18. 1/8 honors sent a letter. Last week there was another letter with a bumper sticker. Could it be they have incorrect address for you?

Since being accepted I have received separate letters from the university itself, the honors college, the university scholars program, and CCIS. One of those included a bumper sticker. There was another letter from CCIS sent to my parents as well.

We are getting conflicting info from the admissions office. D called a second time to confirm her address and she was told that she would only receive an admissions packet when we made a deposit. This sounds very strange to me. D asked what about the school sending a hard copy of her acceptance letter and she was told to print her email acceptance letter.

Update: We cleared it up. Seems that the package was lost. (International address)

Now today there was another letter from NEU’s College of Science. I forgot that they keep sending stuff, both to D and to me. Also, math dept. called to chat and talk about ‘welcome days.’ It could be because she is NMSF. Not sure if they send so much stuff to all admitted. However, I think you really should have gotten admission package. Everyone sends those.

muf123, Oh good, glad to hear that.
