<p>I got my letter today.. two days before I was expecting it. And I got in! Yay! </p>

<p>Do you think rejections are mailed at the same time? Because we didn't receive anything yesterday. Trying to stay positive.</p>
<p>I visited over the summer and I loved it. Hoping for an overnight stay soon.</p>
<p>I really do think I just got mine early.. no idea why since I'm OOS. From looking through the forums last year, it looks like people got notified of acceptance even later than when they thought they would. I wouldn't worry.</p>
<p>Also, the envelope for acceptance is very thin (suprisingly not much info in it), so don't jump to conclusions if you get a thin one!!</p>
<p>Last year, we didn't find out until we called their Admissions office that UNCA was still waiting for a counselor's statement, and therefore hadn't processed my S's application yet. Prior to that, there had been no indication or notification that anything was missing. We followed up on the missing statement and S was admitted some weeks later. If you don't hear from UNCA this week, I would contact them to make sure it's not some technicality like this. Good luck...</p>
<p>stay positive...mail gets to different places at diff times. last year my son got acceptances weeks after others got them. but you could certainly call unca tomorrow to be sure they have all they need to make the decision...good luck</p>
