EA II letters?

My d has received a number of clues that she may have been accepted to Knox, except an actual acceptance or rejection letter. She got a full Knox catalog in the mail a week ago, and this week received a Knox financial aid form and an email to both her and us from admissions profiling students and the college. Has anyone received a letter of acceptance from Knox, who applied EA II, we are wondering if it may have been lost in the mail?

orygunmum - I just noticed this post, did your daughter receive the letter of admission yet? We also received the catalog a few days before the admissions letter and figured it was a good sign but still…

No she hasn’t. She has tried to contact her admissions rep, but he has been out sick so she hasn’t received a call back. I guess we will need to keep waiting, as she continues to get emails and program information in the mail. I love Knox, and would like to plan a spring break visit if she gets in. Fingers crossed.

I looked yesterday for my daughter admissions letter and it wasn’t where it should have been so I’ll look for it where is “shouldn’t” be today but I do know that the Admitted Students days are April 13 and 20, I can’t remember if they’re overnights or not. You can go onto their website and search for “admitted students” and I believe it will take you to the dates and schedule.

If you’re daughter’s rep is out sick you could call the general Admissions Office number and speak with the person who answers. We had all sorts of problems submitting EA because of the NE Halloween snow storm and the woman who answered the phone was very helpful when we couldn’t get our rep on the phone. I wonder if it’s gotten lost in the mail.

She called twice. Once she was told hers rep was out, the next time there was no answer. She has emailed so hopefully will get a response. Thank you for your support amtc. I will post when she finds out. It is tough to play the waiting game, but we won’t make any definitive choice until all decisions and financial info is out, so I guess a few more days won’t matter to much, since April is still a few months away.

Have you found anything else out? I applied for EA II and received a letter of acceptance in mid-December… The admissions people at Knox, or at least my rep, are really great, but not the fastest in returning emails  I hope you and your daughter receive good news soon  I’m visiting Knox next week for the winter open house and an overnight, but financial aid is going to be the determining factor in whether I enroll or not.

She received her acceptance yesterday with a writers scholarship. Unfortunately it is about 1/2 the amount received from other schools, so we will need to wait and see how they compare financial aid wise. Thank you for your support and information.

I wonder if the writers scholarship is what held it all up? Congrats on that but sorry it’s not enough. At least you now know!
