Basically I want to go EA... and thought I could make it, but I guess I am hearing it is harder than I had hoped for

anything else?
IDK I want to know early but if its better to hold out...

Well I am not an admissions officer so please don't take what I say to heart. I think you look really strong though and I usually hear for ND that they recommend at least a 1400 on the SAT to be competitive in the Early pool. I am also worrying about whether or not to apply early but I think the idea is that Notre Dame will not flat-out reject someone early who would have had a change in regular admissions, again, I may be wrong. Anyways, I am with you about the writing, my best score was in the writing section too, lol.

Go For it. Your stats are fine

Ea .........

Spend some time with the essay! A good essay will go a long way---

seladora, I did not get 700 on my Math SAT so my addition could be wrong, but I calculated OP's SAT as 1450.

I did realize that. What I was saying was that the op's score is far above the benchmark for deciding ea or not, and thus he should not be worried about it.

I think you are safe going EA, good luck!

Go EA. The 33 on the ACT equates to a much higher SAT than 1400...
