I´m wondering whether I should apply early action or regular decision for G-town´s SFS. Georgetown is number 1 on my list, so I figured that early action may be the way to go. But I don´t know if I´d be considered a "confident choice" for Georgetown... I am confident of all of my qualities, except I messed one thing up and that is my math and writing scores on the SAT (I feel that math mostly portrays me, but writing does not - that morning was just not the prime time for me to write).

I have about a 3.9 GPA on the 4 point scale
720 Verbal, 600 Math, 620 Writing
I have no SAT IIs because I am participating on foreign exchange right now and have no means by which to take them, so my mom called Georgetown and an admissions rep said that they could waive the requirement.

Among my regular teacher and counselor recs, I will have 2 additional letters of rec from Congressmen (I actually know them, it´s not a "my daddy knows...")

In addition to my SAT issue, I have no APs because during my Junior year I was a page and could take no classes. Now, during senior year, I am studying abroad and can take no AP classes. Will this hurt me much, or not? I do believe I had a rigorous high school curriculum because I would take classes with higher level grades (such as skipping a Spanish level, skipping a Composition level, taking advanced literature classes, etc.). Will the admissions panel be able to see my transcript compared with a "normal" high school transcript for my school? And will it really matter if I do not come from some expensive, well-known private school?

Despite my SAT writing score, I really do believe that I can write well. If I write good essays and with everything listed above, should I go early action? also, what about the AP issue?

BTW I am only applying to one other college - American U (I figured it´s definitely a viable alternative).
