<p>I have a 1480 SAT score and I know that ND encourages only the smartest to apply EA and thus producing a much more competitive pool of EA applicants, I am curious as to what the SAT ranges of the EA pool might be to cause such anxiety of whether to apply or not...?</p>

<p>They say to apply EA if you have a 1420+ or a 32+ and are in the top 2-3% of your class. However we all know people that were in that range and got deferred or were out of that range and got accepted, so your EC's and Personal Statement are also very important.</p>
<p>well class rank is a bit off the range but its because i go to a competitive boarding school..i hope they understand</p>
<p>the class rank is subjective by school, i got to a good public school and am barely in the top 5%, but they still recommended that i apply EA</p>
