Eagle Bucks

My son (incoming freshman) just checked his Eagle Bucks account on eaglebucks.com and it shows that he has $0.00 in Eagle Bucks and $0.00 in Dining Dollars, and his account status shows as “Suspended”. Is everyone else seeing that too, or does that status mean that there’s a specific problem with my son’s account? Thanks.

I just checked my D’s account and her balance is $0 in both as well. I didn’t notice her account being shown as “suspended,” but I am surprised that the $200 in each account is not there yet. I am assuming that it will be there by move-in this weekend? I may give Housing and Dining a call tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

I just found the following web page:

[Today@AU[/url]

It appears that it’s updated every day. Today’s announcements include the following info, which gives the impression that the balances will show up correctly on Saturday morning (we hope):

Within the next month we will have three new EagleBucks merchants: Crisp N’ Juicy, Murasaki, and Wingos

Please find a list of all off-campus EagleBucks merchants at the following link: https://www.eaglebucks.com/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp?tab_id=_13_1](http://www.american.edu/todayatau/).

Students who have purchased a meal plan for the fall semester will have access to the EagleBucks and Dining Dollars (that came with their meal plans) on August 18th at 9am."

As predicted, the money is in her account this morning. Looks like we are good to go! AND it is a BEAUTIFUL day in D.C. for move-in!

We’re just back from Move In Day. It went quite smoothly at Hughes, and yes the weather was amazing. How was everyone else’s move in experience???

All went smoothly at Anderson too. Perfect weather.

Great day on Saturday moving my D into Anderson. All went smoothly and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We took trips with stuff while one person waited in the line. By the time we got to the front of the dorm, we were able to do it all in one trip with the delightful, friendly help from the older students. Even noticed that the Dean of Student Affairs was out working the line. My D really likes her new roommate, was able to fit everything neatly into her room…all together a successful day! I have every confidence that she will love her experience at American!
