<p>I don't know if this is a system-wide problem, or if it happened to D2 only.</p>
<p>Last Friday, Panther Central voided all PantherFunds remaining from the $7 each incoming student was given for PittStart. In D2's case, $0.37. Unfortunately, at the same time they voided the $100 I had deposited on Thursday.</p>
<p>Whoops! No real harm done -- I called Panther Central this morning and they had it fixed by lunchtime. If you have already deposited some PantherFunds, you might want to check your account to make sure they are still there.</p>
<p>Thank you so much! Just checked mine and my $50 deposit was gone… this wouldn’t have been a nice stress on me to find in my first week away from home. Just sent an email to Panther Central, hopefully it’s fixed soon :)</p>
<p>Just got off the phone with Panther Central (they are apparently staffed overnight) and they have to run some reports and then put the funds back. She said “hopefully by this afternoon”. </p>
<p>They might be in for a busy day, so if on campus today with this problem, I would make Panther Central my first stop.</p>
<p>has anyone successfully been able to check panther fund balance or dining dollar balance on line? I keep getting an error message where I get directed to something called blackboard academic suite???</p>
<p>pittparent - that happened to me last week, and when I called Panther Central, was told the parent’s link hasn’t worked since May. The students have a different link to check their balance.</p>
<p>I have been trying using my son’s login (not aware of a parent link). Seems like some people can access some part of the website , either the panther fund balance or the dining dollar balance. I can’t access either. Finally got Panther Central to recognize their is an issue with the website - just got this response:
" I apologize for all of the problems that you have been experiencing with your online portal. We have received many calls regarding this issue, so it’s not just your son. I am having my manager e-mail the person the person in charge of that section of our website tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience. "</p>
