I just noticed the thread on Mt. Sinai's early acceptance program (Humanities and Medicine), and it made me wonder about other early acceptance programs for current college students. (I realize there are multi-degree programs like PLUM, HPME, etc. for high school students, but I'm interested in learning more about ones available for the college student.) I know that back in the day, for example, students in Texas could apply to the Texas med schools, and if they were a really strong candidate, they were accepted and never completed their undergrad. Is this even still possible?

Tufts has one, but I think it is limited to Boston-area colleges.

There are programs that accept college sophomores. The one that I know does not require MCAT, but they go thru interview. It is called something like StarMed or Medstar, not sure.

I’m pretty sure there’s one like that for College Sophomores at Rutgers-New Brunswick

The University of Michigan used to have one for entering freshmen. Not sure if the program still exists. The students completed their undergrad, but had an automatic acceptance to med school.

U of M used to have bs/md that has been discountinued several years ago. I am not sure if they even had one for college sophomes that OP is looking for.
