Early Action Answer Plus Small Rant

First of all, many people have had questions about early action so I emailed admissions. It took them a month and a day but here is the response.

Dear Michael,

First, I would like to apologize for the delay in our response. Everything you said about the non-existence of a downside to EA is true. Usually, more competitive students apply EA, but there are no restrictions or rules so any student can apply EA. If a student is deferred, his application would be viewed with all the other regular admission applications. There is no third category. I hope that answered your questions, and thanks for checking out those message boards once in a while! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Best Wishes!

Sincerely,

Paula Alfonso ‘09

Admissions Assistant

Now for the rant...why am I not an admissions assistant? No offense to Paula but she is a sophomore. UGH, lol. BTW, I am not really mad about this, I actually am working on campus 10 hours a week and that is enough, but I wish I had known of this job! I would love her job! Oh well, off to class!

hey...i know her...

lol, will you ask her if I can have her job :)

If it makes your feel any better Michael.. I think your 10 times more qualified for the job than miss paula alfonso... even though thats one hell of a name

I agree, I am jealous of her name as well. I don't know that I am 10 times more qualified but I like to think that I can provide better information just because I am not limited by the party line. I say what I think or believe, even if they would assume I wouldn't, and I kind of like that. I think if I had to be in admissions I would burn out because I couldn't say what I wanted to say.

hhaha ya that would be true........
i still cant get over that name.........paula alfonso ahahha
