I'm in the APEX (Advanced Placement Experience) program at my school, which is the most rigorous and selective program that we offer. I plan on majoring in Psychology and following the Pre-Law program. I know my EC's and GPA are weakk so hoping to compensate for that in essay/recs.

Great SAT score, strong GPA. But your awards/honors are weak, your ECs show a lack of focus and not much leadership, and you're an ORM, so Stanford's going to be tough. However, I do think you have a pretty good chance. Try to highlight a passion/focus in your essays.

your gpa is really low, what class rank are you, top 1%, 5%, 10%? Your EC's also show a lack of dedication or passion. Most only during 11th and 12th grade and almost only academic clubs. Doesn't show any balance in activities. NYLF just shows that you paid $$ to spend a week in DC, not any leadership. Being asian doesn't 'help either. Didn't mean to bash you, just providing truth. Have fun.
