Early Action decisions for Providence College

When are early action decisions sent out for Providence college? The website says by January 1, but does anyone know when exactly sent out? Also is it online or in the mail?

Has anyone received.portal information? Maybe they just notify everyone via mail.

I haven’t received portal information, but I found this
[EA/ED Updates](http://blogs.providence.edu/scott-seseske/2013/12/eaed-updates/)
and it says EA and ED decisions should be mailed out around the 18th

This is from Twitter:

"And with that, the final decision has been made. Early Action / Early Decision is complete! Now to prepare the letters…

So that was Thursday night.

So, excited. Hope we receive a letter this week. My daughter could definitely use some good news.

I received a large packet with financial aid information it. Could this be a good sign?

There was an update on the Admissions Blog with a photo of all the envelopes waiting to be mailed…

Did anyone get a letter today?

Got mine (I’m in NJ). I was deferred, but I already got into my first choice, so I’m not bothered :)

Deferred here too (NY) Not first choice either

Deferred here in CT too. So was best friend.

Can you post your stats if you were accepted, deferred or rejected?

ACT 28, GPA 91, lots of AP and Honors, strong leadership, national award from Yale Model UN, other awards, tons of extracurriculars. Deferred. Only thing I can think of my GPA trending went down from 9 to 11th grade but that was because of harder classes. Guess that means more to them then the whole person. Website makes a big deal about gpa trending.

Accepted with scholarship :)

Accepted Early Action!

deferred…3.6 gpa, first term 3.8…with with all honors classes, 2ap…1900 sats, 28 act

Accepted early action with a 3.3 GPA and a 27 ACT!
