early action decisions

my blue hen home says that my application is "under review". does anyone else have that status? when will we hear about early action? do they release the decisions all at once? im so nervous!

Apparently, rolling admissions only applies to in-state applicants. Out of state were told they would not hear a decision until March.

My Blue Hen data says the same. When I visited UD last Summer, I had a great tour with an excellent “Blue Hen Ambassador” who was really down to earth and approachable; she told me that in-state applicants are processed first, and OOS ones do indeed have to wait until March to hear… seems like a long time from now, particularly when other schools’ decisions are coming in, but if UD’s high on your preference list -as it is for me- it’s just a wait and see thing… good luck!

Yes, the only thing that applying early is consideration for is honors and scholarships. It’s strange because in New York (where I am), SUNY schools like Binghamton give priority to OOS because they want the higher tuition and diversity, often discriminating against in-state applicants. UD at least understands what their original mission is, to educate in-state students

I got in to UD!

Congrats Raiderade!! Can you please share some of your personal details? Are you in-state or out of state?

I am instate and met all of the criteria for the Commitment to Delawareans (which isn’t much of a commitment for them imo). I have a 2190 SAT, 3.95W GPA and idk what my UW GPA is. I have really good extra curriculars including an internship with the Lieutenant Governor, serving as secretary of a non-profit, and publishing two writing pieces in a political journal. My intended major is philosophy.

Hopefully I’ll qualify for merit aid but those decisions don’t come out until mid march :(
