My D was deferred.
What can we expect going forward? And, what is the likely timing?
This was the first year NU has had both EA and ED options in the early round, meaning everything we pretended we knew about the admissions process is even more unreliable than it was before. It is hard to say what the acceptance after deferral rate will be, so my only recommendation is to expect the worst and hope for the best.
Timing will probably be roughly the same as it was in past years though, meaning you’ll get a decision in mid to late March.
What to expect? At this point no one knows. For the last couple of years Northeastern has begun sending out RD decisions in mid-February, first to Scholars and other top applicants. The bulk of decisions go out the same day in mid-March.
