Early Action Notification Decision Class of 2016

My D applied Early Action 1 (app in and complete before October 31st). I was told today by admissions office that they are trying to get all notifications out by noon tomorrow before they leave for Christmas break. Email and post.

Any others out there apply/heard back from Trinity? Is TU top choice? It is for my D.

Good luck, everyone!

Got my email at 8:47 this morning (AZ time). Accepted! Trinity is not my top choice but is a great school that I know I would be happy attending.

My S just opened his email as well, he’s accepted and really feels this might be the right school for him

I got my email on 12/22/2011 at around 9:46 AM. ACCEPTED! Trinity University is my top choice school! Gonna double major in biology (pre-med) and business adminstration. I love Trinity! Anyone received a packet from them yet?

received my large envelope today, they offered a decent merit scholarship for four years. I’m happy =)

I got my email a couple of days ago, and I was accepted! Trinity is one of my top choice schools; my sister goes there as well. I haven’t received the letter, so I don’t know how much financial aid I received yet. Anxiously waiting. :D

i got my packet from them! i am extremely satisfied with the merit scholarship. i am also going for the music/baker duncan scholarship too. my dad already sent my deposit! Awesome christmas gift! :)

My D was deferred. Anyone know the statistics of acceptance after deferral?

My daughter got in! We live in Massachusetts so it’s very far away and with no merit $ it’s gonna be a hard call. She would love to attend Trinity U., but she’s already received pretty significant merit scholarship offers from three other schools. I was really surprised she didn’t get any $$. Boo hoo! Well she can still audition for a music scholarship!

What level of $$$ is anyone seeing in Trinity merit scholarships? The school has a huge endowment for its size, so am wondering if they offer >avg merit scholarships.

Has anyone heard from trinity university about Early action II decision?
If not when are they going to release their decision for it is written that they will notify by feb 15?
for Ea1,they said notification of decision will be sent by jan 1…and they sent their decisions from jan 23!!!so i guess they might have begin to send decisions…

Son just received an acceptance e-mail. We are all very excited. He plans on majoring in computer science and potentially minoring in business. Good luck to everyone! See you at Trinity 360 in March.

D received an acceptance email yesterday. Waiting for the written acceptance and hopefully a nice merit award.

My D got a call yesterday from the diving coach at Trinity, saying he had heard she was recently accepted at Trinity and was she interested in being on the dive team…but she hasn’t heard officially from Trinity about acceptance after being deferred during early action.

Not trying to get our hopes up but sounds promising!

tuitionremission: did you get your packet yet? we got ours today - other schools have offered more in aid, but Trinity is still D’s top choice…do you know how easy the fin aid office is to work with? Would like to at least get somewhere close to other schools - I know we’ll qualify for some need based but that won’t come until April 1st.

yes, D received her award package and was disappointed. Award was lower than she was offered by other private schools with similar academic standards. As much as she likes Trinity I’m afraid she’ll be looking more closely at other schools unless need-based aid comes her way.

Yes, ours wasn’t “wow” either - we’re waiting for possible need-based to come in - we met all fafsa filing deadlines so hopefully the offer will be coming shortly - would prefer not to have to wait til April 1 to find out what they offer.
