Early Action Notification.. pshh yeah okay......

FINALLY heard back!! (got accepted)-

OOS (NJ)
Male
Hispanic
3.8 gpa unweighted/4.1 weighted
25 ACT
Only kid from my school accepted

BTW- UConn put a notification on their site addressing the issue of notification (they say it was because of the snow).

anybody else get this?

This application is Complete.

Information on your application is currently unavailable. Please check the Student Center, after the next business day, for updates to your application status. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I got waitlisted somehow ***…either way I got accepted to Penn State and Maryland and I’m still waiting on Mich so I prob wasn’t gonna go here anyway.

Deferred, even though Uconn is a safety for me and I got in to all my ‘fit’ schools and even one of my stretches (so far). Wonder if the high number of applications scared them into really raising their standards. OOS, 3.5, 1320.

ohdb99
i had the same problem. OOS, 3.4, SAT 2020…deffered

Just got my letter today got a scholarship for a little over $12,000 per year.

Deferred with a solid GPA and over 2000 SAT? That doesn’t make any sense.

yea i dont get it at all. could i really be overqualified? i didnt think so? think it has anything to do with just trying to cram everyone into the deadline?

INVADER& ! congrats ! are u OOS, can u share stats?

13k scholarshipp in the mail today!! I think I’m going to have to take a drive up there next week :). And isn’t this weird, in the letter, it says that I only have to keep a MIN 2.5 gpa to keep the scholarship. 2.5! Are they serious?? Isn’t that practically academic probation status?

did your scholarship info come with your acceptance letter???

Its worth waiting on Uconn, its the best public school in New England, and they have great Ice Cream. The only thing Michigan has going for it is a republican governor. I would rather go the Wisconsin.

Haha I know BC I was telling my parents if I go I wouldn’t even have to try to keep my scholarship.

I called Uconn Admissions and was told my application was complete (has been since October) but to wait another 2-3 weeks for a decision to be made…

yes in the packet right behind my letter of acceptance

Anyone else still waiting on an Early Action acceptance? This wait is rediculous! UCONN has gotta step up it up…

When do they release decisons for people who were deferred EA?

Are they finishing all EA deferments before reviewing any RD?

@greg- Yes they are finish all EA applicants before looking at ANY RD applications

I’m thinking that deferred EA applicants get their decisions after they look at the RD people…,
