Early Action Question (Non-Restrictive)

I am considering applying Early Action to the University of Chicago (non-restrictive policy if admitted) and I was wondering if a detractor of EA is not knowing the amount of financial aid you will receive.

If I apply Early Action and am accepted, is it possible that I will be able to wait and see the amount of financial aid I will receive before making my decision?

Since EA isn’t binding, FA notice won’t be a factor since you’ll be able to compare it with other offers during the RD round. If accepted EA, you aren’t required to decide until May. See?
