Early Action Questions

So I finally sent in my my application, transcripits, and SATs. I recieved the supplemental via email, and am just finishing up the essay. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows if the supplemental is even mandatory: the webpage seems to indicate that it is only necessary for honors programs and scholorships. Are people admitted without it?

Also, I've seen Stony Brook listed as both an Early Action and Rolling Admissions school. Does anyone know when the earliest we could hear would be?

Thanks

The Web site is right; the supp is only mandatory for the various honors programs. You can be admitted without it.

Early action notifications go out January 1; regular notifications start going out February 1 and continue thereafter.
