As the title said, the “status dates” (found under “application requirements” on the applicant website) for my transcript, act score, and payment are listed as after the EA deadline of November 1st.
My application was submitted on November 1st, but I’m worried that these late dates will effect my eligibility for the Honors College and scholarships. My transcript and payment were also submitted on November 1st with the Common App. My ACT score was sent weeks ago.
Do I actually have anything to worry about?
Edit: The website says my application is being evaluated.
If the website states it is evaluated then there is notjing to worry about because the evaluation will only show up after the completion of necessary documents.
You can check when you have completed the necessary documents through clicking to your Application Status. The system shows the time it is processed instead of when it was arrived though. But I assume it should not be a problem since you have completed all before the deadline.
I would still save bank transcripts, mails or any proof for future reference.
Thank you Charlaux. I figured this would be the case, but I just wanted a little peer confirmation.
@lijrobert No worries. Hope everything goes well for you
Just don’t forget to check your Application Status from time to time to see if it still under evaluation. If they need any further documentation thats where they will usually contact you at.
I am an international Transfer student though thats all what happened in my case (finished application before deadline but missing/ problem files etc). Again wish you good luck and hope to see you as a Buckeye in fall 2017
I sent my app on the November 1st. My application fee says received on the 2nd. My test scores/transcript say completed on the 3rd. Is that what happened to you? I’m also worried that I missed the deadline but I turned my app on time so idk.
@class0f2017 Same thing happened to me. You’re fine
When I went through the process a couple of years ago, they actually asked me to apply for honors/scholars months down the road. I wouldn’t worry if I were you.
