<p>i know 32% of applicants are accepted overall under my "best 361 colleges" book by princeton review and under the website, it says:</p>
<p>The university aims to fill no more than 30% of the freshman class through the Early Action process, therefore, Early Action at Boston College is more selective than Regular Decision. </p>

<p>That does NOT mean the acceptance rate is 30%. It means they don't want over 30% of the class to be filled up by EA applicants.</p>

<p>on the 2006 edition of USNEWS colleges...the BC early acceptance rate is 43% compared to a 29% acceptance rate for early for a total acceptance rate of 32%</p>
<p>the acceptance rate last year tho was 29% so everything is probably just a little lower</p>

<p>needsinfo: I think my mom said the guy she spoke to told her that they were just sending them out on the 11th, and people would hear by around the 15th. </p>
<p>...but someone on here said her/his brother got an EA acceptance letter around the 20th, so basically trying to figure out the date is futile. </p>

just when you start thinking a week and a half ahead to the 24th, they throw it at you early.</p>
<p>the website says letters for interviews for Presidential scholarship will go out under seperate cover the week of the 18th(Monday)</p>
<p>Does anyone know how many people get interviewed for the Presidential Scholarship? I know only a few people get it (what was it, 15?) but how big is the pool that those 15 accepted people come from?</p>
