this question is hard to answer because like most schools offer early admission or rolling admission?

I’m not talking about early application. I’m talking about skipping senior year to go to college early. Waiving your senior year basically means you’re going to college a year early but you don’t have your high school diploma yet, which is generally granted after the first year of college is successfully completed.

Oh… well I guess you can try to apply anywhere right?

princeton allows juniors too

Does Princeton require a high school diploma?

homeschoolers don’t have a dimploma yet they are allowed to apply, right?

but yes, I remember i read on their website, can’t find it now, but you can try.

Okay, thanks for your help! :)

I did this! It’s not nearly as hard as one would think. I would say that most schools actually allow for this, even if they don’t mention it on their site. The easiest way to find out is to find their Common Data Sets and look for question C19.

edit: Just thought I’d add that you’d be surprised which schools do and do not offer this option. Ordinarily liberal Brown doesn’t allow skipping senior year, whereas plenty of big state schools were happy to have me! So, definitely check!

Also, if you’re interested in Barnard, you might be happy to know that Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Bryn Mawr all offer early admissions.

MIT offers early admissions.

If you need a high school diploma for something, what kind of work would you need to do to get a GED? I think most schools accept that.

The biggest thing to consider is whether you have a chance at these schools as an early leaver… particularly if you aren’t earning your high school diploma.
