Cornell 2010

just curious, in past years have the ED/EA results been about the same ratio as this year (or has it gone up/down for those accepted)...?

Colby '10!

what were her stats?

Cornell class of 2010! :D

I applied SUNY geneseo ED, and i was deferred.

BC Class of '10!!!

Swarthmore 2010

what if I was deferred from MIT and accepted to Caltech?

It would make sense since you're from Massachusetts. Plus, your applications may not have been exactly the same, or the adcoms could be looking for different students to fill up their freshmen classes. Additionally, I believe that MIT has an early admissions rate limit, so they'd be likely to defer you even if you're qualified.

in at U of Vermont!

Im sorry brandi, major good luck for RD; I hope to see you there in the fall!

Yale 2010!

my friend got into Harvard! but then again, he's just awesome. I'll see about Chicago tomorrow...wish me luck.

lol nice @ the Harvard guy.

Yup, I got accepted early, to TWO schools: University of Pittsburgh- Main Campus (Rolling) and Howard University (Early action). I found out about Pitt two nights ago when I came home and Howard when I got home from school today. Neither of these two are my first choice, but I am still ecstatic. I'm going to college!!!

I got deferred from UT - Plan II honors today, not that it mattered since I got into Rice. I just expected it to be the other way around, deferred or rejected from Rice and accepted at Plan II.

Wraider;
Congrats!
