<p>I would guess that people would realize there is no penalty for SCEA and the total number of applicant would be the same.</p>

<p>what's the SCEA acceptance rate? </p>

<p>i heard it was about 15-18% and that RD was about 5.5% (and since more people apply RD, then the overall rate would be closer to that percentage.. and 8.6% is in that area)</p>
