<p>Hey I am an anxious high school junior looking to be chanced (first time using this site).
I go to a selective public school in nyc (not bx sci or sci but basically up there with them) and due to immaturity as a freshman i currently have a 3.5 gpa. This year I have some hard teachers along with taking ap bio, so I am having a hard time keeping my grades at the level which i want them to be at (B+, A-). I am going to take the SAT in march and am hoping for close to at least 2000, I have been getting just shy of 1800 on my practice tests.</p>
<p>My EC's include:
Track/Cross-country- Takes up a major portion of my time, one of the top long distance runners in PSAL and am hoping to keep on improving my times and qualify for xc states next fall.
High school newspaper
Student leadership team- helped with high school orientation, helped with tours.
Interned with the Upper East Side Assemblyman </p>
<p>Colleges I am looking to apply to:
Suny Bing,
Suny Geneseo,
Suny New Paltz,
Stony Brook,
Basically any good Suny schools, my parents are only willing to pay private school tuition if it is a good/great school (aka no party schools for me)
