Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): First generation college, early college student, good grades. I took al honors high school classes, and taking so many college courses definitely gave me a leg up. I honestly was confident applying, and I was accepted, but then reading some of the profiles on here made me feel lucky to be accepted. I haven’t done summer programs at Duke or Princeton but I’ve been consistent with my grades and activities. Best of luck to y’all that were deferred!
