Early Decision 2014 chances

or maybe because most people are applying this year and don’t actually know themselves.

Carin - thanks for your opinion

elaslawek - i don’t think they’re a complete waste of time at all. I think this thread can help me receive constructive criticism. That has been happening and thanks to everyone who gave me it, so it’s not really a complete waste of time.

Celebration - i honestly have no idea what you just said.

by the way, I last bumped this post for an answer to my questions found in post 16, not necessarily to chance me…

"can i send in transcript and recommendations after i do part I of application but before i do part II?

also, if i retake the sat and something disastrous happens, is a 670 critical reading score absolutely terrible for columbia? with a 1460 composite (mid range is 1410-1540)"

If you took a look around this forum, most people are asking the questions instead of answering. That is because, like you, they are applying, and probably have the same questions as you.

Not to be annoying or anything, but it kind of is unfair for people to critcize those who make chances threads when many of the people like Celebration have made Chances threads themselves.

just saying…

the answer to your question in post 16 is yes, as long as you put your name and other pertinent information so that the office and place them in your file.

Hardworker - I’m not criticizing chance threads, and I never said anything about them. I’m just saying that the questions that are being asked probably aren’t known because most people here are applying this year as well. I have asked questions of my own that are never answered, and I usually just contact office of admissions now.

Celebration - ohhhh i understand now. I got the message that the people on this forum are still trying to find purpose within themselves… “don’t actually know themselves” … haha my mistake. Also, there are many on the Columbia forum that can answer my question, just like Epaminondas (thank you by the way). You’re right in that most people here are applicants, but there are still those who are here to help…

is this a joke? if there’s no hope for you… we all should fear.

how did those october SAT’s go anyway
