For most schools the early decision or early action application deadline is Nov. 1. Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to take the required subject tests until that date. Do any schools allow you to rush your scores even though they will arrive after the deadline of Nov 1???

You can, but you shouldn't because it's very expensive. Contact whatever school you're applying early to and ask them, just to be sure. Some schools don't mind if the SAT scores are sent within a week or so past the deadline, in which case you don't need to rush the scores.

well the next SAT subject tests that I would be available to take aren't until Nov. 1.. so the scores wouldnt be sent out till the end of November, and I know they wouldnt accept that... how quickly after the actual test do the scores arrive if you rush them?

college 77, i was thinking about same thing and i decided to take the tests early because i am entering junior year so i have time. But i think i have a solution for you. btw, rushing takes about 2 days i am 90 % sure. check college board website to just make sure. Also, i believe i went to JHU website because i am applying there.. and it said IF for whatever reason they do not get the scores by Nov. 1 they will accept scores for the test taken at November. Make sure, you go to your college website and confirm this or just email them. Hope that helps.

Check actual rules of college. Almost all that have a Nov 1 app deadline for ED or EA and require SAT IIs accept the Nov SAT IIs, via regular delivery, even though they don't arrive until late November.

I plan to just submit my ACT Writing scores (which most colleges will accept) if my SATs are late... I did pretty well, so I won't feel like I'm compromising.

ok thanks for the advice, I am very relieved
