A question about Nov. SAT and Early Action/decision

You may think this question is stupid, but I don't really know what to do.

I'm planning to take a SAT subject test on Nov, but I also want to apply EAs and ED. Normally the deadline of EA and ED is either Nov 1 or Nov 15. Neither one is earlier than the test result comes out. So what should I do? Write a note on the app. saying that the Nov. SAT result is coming? or what?

Thanks.

I'm in the same situation.

I'm doing EA anyway.

Colleges say that they can't guarantee if they'll receive test scores in time, but normally they do.

So how much time does CB need to send the score report? 3 weeks after the test?
Do I need to send the report prior to the deadline(Nov.1, or 15) and send another report for the most recent result(Nov SAT)?

Will they get it from the October tests in time if the deadline is November 1st?

I wanted to do ED at Columbia, but I'm not taking my SAT IIs till October.

i'm pretty sure as long as you say on your app that you're taking them in october, colleges will get it in time if you rush your scores...im not sure about november though

Princeton said that November scores usually arrive on time.

I'm pretty sure it's the same for other EA schools.

You have a better chance at your first choice school with EA anyway.

The worst that can happen is, of course, rejection.

Those who get deferred in EA have a better chance at admission than regular applicants.

Take a risk.

MIT says you can take November tests

Columbia says not to rush scores.

so... can i still take Nov. test and also apply to EA with the Nov. score?

Bump

Are you talking about SAT I?

Or SAT II?

I'm probably taking SAT I in October and SAT II in November.

So if you have to take SAT I in November, that might not be a good idea.

Yea, I'm taking SAT I in Oct. and SAT II in Nov. too. But can they see the Nov. Score?

I'm taking the SAT II in November too, German with Listening since that is the only time they offer that stupid exam all year long. I really hope that Yale sees that score on time because otherwise I would only have two subject tests and they would have to automatically reject me.

I was gonna do that, too, with teh German with Listening. But then I just decided to go for math II and chem, since Columbia only requires two.

Why don't they offer German with listening (or more important in my book, german without listening, 'cause I suck at listening comprehension) more often?
