I was wondering if you applied early decision I and did not get into that college, then could you apply early decision II/Interim(like at Rice U.)? The deadline for Early decision II is after you know whether or not you got into the college that you applied early decision I (or at least for emory it is). Thanks!

I think so, I was planning on doing that.

yes, you can definitely do that

You can even apply ED II to a different school than your ED I school if you'd like.

Wait wait,

You can only apply ED II if you apply to a school that is different than the EDI school that deferred/rejected you... If you applied ED I and you got deferred/rejected, you can't reapply to that same school under EDII- just to clarify the apparent confusion reference by the previous poster...

TTG

does anyone have a list of or can name some ED 2 schools?

the OP mentioned Emory and Rice, what other top schools offer it?

also, what schools offer EA? (not SCEA, i mean the kind where you can apply ED to one school and EA to another)

I know that Carleton and Washington U have EDII.
