I understand what each is for, but is it possible to apply for both? I heard that you can do so because you hear back from EDI before you apply EDII, but for a lot of schools you hear from EDI after the EDII deadline. I am confused if it is possible to do this. Do you apply to EDII and then wait for your EDI acceptance or rejection? And if you get accepted do you then withdraw your EDII application or is that not allowed?

dude dont worry about it. a lot of people apply ed2 if they get rejected by their ed1 school. its definitely allowed and fairly common. i think most schools notify ed students in mid dec, and the ed2 deadline is in january, but if there is an issue with deadlines im pretty sure you can apply ed2 and just withdraw the application if you end up getting in ed1. im not entirely sure about this though because there might be a problem with signing 2 ed contracts.
