Early decision audition at OKCU

My son is registered or the early decision dance audition at Oklahoma City University. Does anyone know if "early decision" means that it is binding? He wants to audition early, but definitely wants to audition at many other places before he makes his decision. The university is very vague in their reponse when I call them so I am not getting a clear answer which is kind of driving me nuts. Has anyone had any experience with the early decision audition at OKCU? If it is in fact binding, we may cancel and wait till the March dance audition call. Thanks for any feedback!

I did a quick look through their website and I did not see anywhere that it stated it was binding. It cannot be binding unless you sign an agreement that spells out that it is binding.

Thanks cltdad! That is what I am thinking too. As long as we don’t sign anything or send in any money I’m thinking we will be OK. I am going to try to call one more time tomorrow and see if I can get any more info. I will keep you posted. Shoot- he may not even get accepted and then the whole issue is moot anyway- <sigh></sigh>

Hi. I would double check. Usually early decision is binding. If he applies that way and then audition, you are bound to go there. Early action is the one that is not binding. By applying early decision is you contract.
