Early Decision Class of 2022

@saraaawfu Thank you. My D is a junior, but is hoping to apply to a school ED so I’m trying to gather some info. Wake Forest may be a real possibility for her.

I was accepted into the class of 2022!

Congratulations!! How many weeks did it take before you heard? I’m almost six weeks in now.

Congratulations. Would you mind sharing your test scores if you submitted them?

It took me about 6 weeks from when my application was complete and 7 weeks since I submitted it. I submitted my SAT scores which were 1310. They are slightly below the Wake average and by far not the strongest aspect of my application.

If you don’t mind me asking, what were your stats?

I’ll have taken 6 APs by graduation, I have a 3.85 unweighted GPA, I have attended programs at a few colleges (Princeton, Davidson, Johns Hopkins), and I had good essays/unique activities.

I was also just accepted! Interviewed July 7th, letter dated August 7th.

Congratulations. If you wouldn’t mind, would you share your stats? Especially test scores if you submitted them.

GPA: 3.88 (unweighted) 4.95 (weighted)
Test Scores: N/A (I did not send them)
ECs: Varsity Tennis Team (team captain), Band-clarinet, school musicals, community service projects, camp counselor, honor societies, School award for academics/character (it is a significant achievement at my school), leadership programs.
8 APs by graduation
Creative essays/ top ten
I did not do any college classes (they do not offer that at my school)

Congrats!! What did the envelope look like? Just wondering :).

It looks like the admissions booklet you get when you tour. (black and gold people on the front) On the back side it says “let your deacon flag fly”

Wake Forest class of 2022!!! So excited!!! Can’t wait to meet you guys!!

Yay! CONGRATS! See you next year

Hey, guys!
I applied ED on August 1st via the Common App. I saw that they downloaded my Common Application but haven’t received any confirmation via mail like someone had said previously. Should I be concerned? Also, any ideas on how much longer it should be? They downloaded the application two days ago. I know it hasn’t been 4-6 weeks but I can’t imagine it taking much longer. I would think that after downloading my application they wouldn’t take more than a few days to review it and send their response.
Thanks for any help!

I received a letter in the mail about 4 days after I had submitted everything with an ED agreement but I applied on their application. I would call the admissions office to make sure they have received it. They are super helpful and can probably give you some helpful insight! Its also usually 6-8 weeks after they receive all of you information. Good Luck!

I just sent in my ED application yesterday. I wish everyone the best of luck and hope to see you all next year

Hey, guys! It has now been exactly 4 weeks since I submitted my application via the Common App. I just got an email today saying that they had received my complete application. Looks like my early decision agreement took a long time to get there for some reason. The email also had a link to an application status page. Based on that, they have everything they need from me. Did anyone else get this email at some point? How long after receiving the email did you receive their decision?
Thanks!

have you heard yet?

has anybody else heard ed?
