Just for the record...using my daughters account right now. But what mhmm says is true. My D was accepted ED II yesterday via website. She contacted her gc with her good news. Her gc requested a copy of the notification to be brought in today and then promptly told her to contact her other colleges immediately...hadn't thought of the signature on the line issue, makes sense that she doesn't want her own and the school's reputation tarnished.

Scarsta - I do believe that you were just trying to be helpful and the whole ED issue is very stressful for young people. The most helpful thing you can do is sit down with your cousin and explain how ED works. She actually has been accepted to a top college and should be really excited! Hope your Grandmother makes a speedy recovery. Take care...

I'm not sure what is up with posts like this one and all the cheating threads. Is this generation unconcerned with ethics?

I believe I am starting my 5th year on CC and these same topics appear every year. Along with topics like the FAFSA EFC can't be correct, the IVYies suck (or are all that matter), etc

Thanks to nbg127 for understanding the issue. My cousin is still in the hospital with my grandmother. Just for the record, using her account again.

I talked with her and explained her everything. It seems as if she had already made up her mind even before I spoke with her.

Its final: SHE IS GOING TO THE PLACE WHERE SHE GOT ACCEPTED UNDER ED.

I would like everyone to not misunderstand my cousin's notions.

She just had a thought, and this was due to her friend telling her that such thing was possible. That is why she got confused and asked me about it. I believe everyone has some sorts of thoughts like this in thier lives, but whether we go forward with the thought or just keep it as a thought it what matters. I do not think everyone who wrote about ethics and all that never had any thoughts that contradicted with their "ethics".

I believe she understood more of her commitment than I thought she did as she had already sent the confirmation letter.
