I submitted my application on 1/12. I had all my materials in by then except my senior grades, and those were submitted last Monday. I didn’t check much last week, but by Friday my portal had said that message. Thanks! You too!
Question: any idea when I’ll hear back from Colgate? I switched my application from regular to ED2 yesterday. Also did you get any notification as to when your package was sent?
@gategirl Hi, I did technically receive a notification on my portal page (I had called admissions several times, about 3 I believe, to check on the status of my application within the span of 2-3 weeks) the day I called admissions asking about when I could receive a decision. The notice said that my review process was complete and my decision would be sent soon. I got the package that Monday (notice came on Friday). You can expect to hear back in about 3 weeks, maybe a little less

Okay so I had applied for RD round. And found out that they mail the decisions and not announce them on portal or so. Can anyone please tell me the regular decision notification date? Moreover, I just got a letter from Colgate stating thank you for your interest in the university and we’d like to welcome you to visit. Is everyone provided with that letter or does it mean anything?
Do international students get notified through mail too or do we get lucky and get emails?
I still do not see that message and am presuming I should, given that ED2 decision is made by 2/15
does this in my portal mean anything? “Colgate’s Office of Admission has appreciated the contact we have had with you through your college search. We understand that you are eager to learn the outcome of your application. The application review phase is now complete. We plan to communicate our admission decisions soon. We do not display decisions on the portal and we do not give out decisions over the phone. We thank you again for your interest in Colgate and give you our best wishes for your college career.” Did anyone that got rejected get this message in their portal?
This is only for EDII not RD right?
