Early Decision II or Regular Decision

Hi all,

I applied to Harvey Mudd under regular decision. I was wondering if i made a mistake by doing regular decision vs. ED II? I am worried that most of the accepted students will be in ED II and NOT from regular decision. Did I make the wrong choice? The only reason why I didn't want to apply ED II is that I want to have more than one choice and aid option come march/april.

I’m also in the same boat as you. :’(
I didn’t know that you could get out of ED if it was for financial reasons, if I had known, I would’ve applied EDII instead.

If you must be able to compare offers, then you should not apply ED (either 1 or 2). The ‘out’ for ED for financial reasons is not to be taken lightly.
That being said, Mudd’s ED 2 is a relatively new option, and it seems unlikely to be the source of the majority of the remaining acceptances.

I applied EDII, but I really don’t think it will matter. Good luck to you guys!
