Hey everyone, I’ll be applying to Harvey Mudd. A few stats: girl, CS major, visited campus and LOVE the school, 3.9 UW 4.26 W, 2290/2320 SAT, 9 APS by end of senior year and 5 honors, pretty strong EC with varsity sports, officer positions in clubs, and 500+ hours of volunteering.
I really want to get into Harvey Mudd, so I was wondering if applying ED 2 will give me an advantage or not? Thanks for the advice 
If Mudd is your top choice school, then by all means go ED. The acceptance rate is higher for ED vs RD, and also you’ll find out sooner whether or not you were accepted. Your stats look good for Mudd, but I think that fit is a really important aspect for them, and you need to demonstrate that in your essays and ideally interview as well. Good luck!

Are finances an issue? Have your run the NPC? If you are okay with the finances and Mudd is your first choice, I’d so go for it.

They only take so many, but that is true in RD as well. Stop waffling and apply.
