Early Decision Question

I took the SAT on the October Test Date. On the UVa. website, they say that the last test date they accept is the one in the month of October and that they do not accept rush scores. My score improved significantly on this past test date and I want it to arrive as soon as possible. Does the denial of rush scores only apply to test dates after October or to any date in general? Basically, my question is can I rush send my October score report or do I have to do the standard report?

anyone know?

If you had called us at 4 PM when you posted, we could have gotten you the answer right away!

The answer is that if you put UVA's code on the registration sheet or on your answer sheet on the day of the exam, we'd have your scores in time. That this point, it's a week past deadline and your application may have been read already.

Send your scores along; just understand that they might not be seen until the review of deferred ED applications.

Ok, thanks a lot for the response. I asked my guidance counselor and she called the admissions office, they said she could fax the score report and that they could view it then, which she did. I also requested that my scores be sent from the SAT website, I just didn't sign up for them to be sent when I was registering for the test.

I know the website says that rush score reports are not accepted for Early Decision. Is that for any test date, or just for the November test date? If I send my October scores in a rush report, will they be accepted?

You should really just call them. You will get immediate answers. Us CCer's don't know anymore than you do probably.

The admissions office was close when I made my last post.
