Note: Scores from the October and November SAT administrations are sent by two-day priority delivery to colleges for Early Decision/Early Action (ED/EA) program consideration. Most colleges accept October and November scores for ED/EA programs. Please check with specific colleges to understand when SAT scores need to be received to meet application deadlines. Additional score release dates will be provided in late summer.

Does that mean that October scores are sent out automatically two-day priority, or do we have to designate somewhere that we are applying Early, and then they will send it two-day priority?

I have the same question! I am applying ED and I need them to be received asap. how can i designate the school (other than just writing send scores to)

You can indicate the schools on the answer sheet that you will fill out when you take the tests. Also, when the scores come in, you can request that they be rushed to the ED/EA schools. Your stuff, as the student applicant, all has to be in the admissions office by the end of October, or whenever the date is, but I think most (all?) colleges allow the November test dates to be part of the application. Just rush the scores, and you should be fine. Some schools don't even have you bother to rush the scores. Indicate on the application that you are taking the test, rush the scores to be safe, and you will be fine.

Please check with your school before you rush the SAT score. Some school actually has trouble to receive your rush score. In other words, to send by rushing your score might end up messing up with the school's normal way of receiving the SAT score and the rush delivery might end up later than normal delivery. So please check with your school first.

Definitely check. Plus you are assuming the processing will start exactly on the cuttoff date. Not true, takes time to assemble the information for the cases (scores, reco, transcripts, app form, etc.).

They definitely get the october scores in time. I'm not sure about the Nov, but colleges say that they get the so called "rush" scores about 2 days earlier so don't let them take your money.

no but i dunt no im tkaing november, whether i should sen the october ones, and then send the november ones after i get the score. Or should i send only the score report in novmebr
