Early Decision Trouble

Hey all,

I'm having trouble deciding which college to ED or EA to.
Here are some quick, really brief, stats to help out.
I'm retaking the SAT on June 4, so these might change:

SAT
CR - 680
M - 790
W - 780

SAT II
Math Lvl 2 - 800
US History - 700

UW GPA - 4.0
W GPA - 4.9 something

I did Varsity Tennis, Swimming, and Golf.
VP for both NHS and Beta.
Have many volunteer hours (over 250?) at Florida Hospital and other non-profit organizations.
I have other ECs, like some regional/district academic (and sports) awards, but I think this serves as a brief enough summary.

My options for ED are Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, and UPenn.
But I'm not sure which one of these I should ED to. For instance, I was thinking an ED to Columbia might be a waste since I don't have a very high chance. My friends, however, think that it's still worth a shot.

So if you can give me advice on what to do, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

What is your class rank? Would there be any interest in from coaches?
What do you want to major in and are you looking to get into the highest ranked school possible or is there any other criteria driving your decision.

My class rank is 1/~600.
I took 7 APs this year (junior) so I’m waiting for the results still.
AP European History - 5
AP Human Geo - 4
My intended major is Pre-Med/Bio

Yeah, I’m looking to get into the highest ranked school; mostly anything in top 15.

IMO if you get above 720 on CR any of the schools are within reach. Take your pick for ED. Statistically I think Cornell has the highest % ED acceptance but someone else may correct me on this.

have you visited all of these colleges? when you visit schools you get a better understanding of what each is like. ED is supposed to be for your favorite school, not so much to play the game ‘its easier to get into, so I’ll apply…’
